The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) granted the petitions of "Mittal Steel Holdings AG" on purchasing 100% voting shares of "Anzherskoye Sh/U" OJSC, "Berezovskaya Mine" OJSC, "Pervomaiskaya Mine" OJSC, "Severukuzbasskoye PTU" OJSC, "Anzhero-Sudzhenskoye PTU" OJSC and "SShEMK" OJSC, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

"Mittal Steel Holdings AG" is a subsidiary company 100% owned by its end-parent company "Arcelor Mittal S.А." The company is mainly involved in holding and investment activities.

Primary activity of "Anzherskoye Sh/U" OJSC, "Berezovskaya Mine" OJSC and "Pervomaiskaya Mine" OJSC is coal extraction by underground mining.

"Severukuzbasskoye PTU" OJSC provides services of industrial railways transportation, "SShEMK" OJSC - technical maintenance of mining equipment.

"Anzhero-Sudzhenskoye PTU" OJSC specializes primarily on industrial railways transportation, including forwarding services for companies and railway cargo transportation; services on repair and technical maintenance of the rolling stock; technical maintenance and repair of rail technical equipment; repair and maintenance of the railway track.

The Antimonopoly Service granted the petition of "Mittal Steel Holdings AG" on purchasing 100% voting shares of "Anzherskoye Sh/U" OJSC, "Berezovskaya Mine" OJSC, "Pervomaiskaya Mine" OJSC, "Severukuzbasskoye PTU" OJSC, "Anzhero-Sudzhenskoye PTU" OJSC and "SShEMK" OJSC as the transaction will not result in restricting competition on the relevant goods markets.
