OREANDA-NEWS. March 05, 2008. In January-February 2008, revenues at Far Eastern Railways, a regional division of Russian Railways, increased by 100 million roubles compared to the same period in 2007 to 615 million roubles, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.

Since the beginning of the year, Far Eastern Railways has carried more than 3,6 million passengers, including more than 634,000 on trunk journeys.

Suburban passenger traffic in January-February 2008 incurred losses of 131,3 million roubles, up from 103.9 million roubles in the same months of 2007.
