According to the press service of ANRE, the meetings are attended by representatives of 19 regulating bodies from Central Europe and Eurasia, as well as the officials of ERRA and NARUC (the members of the National Association for regulation of communal enterprises of USA).

Topical issues connected with legal regulation of power sector will be discussed. They are: financial independence of the regulatory body, transparency of regulation, as well as powers of authorities in the field of heating.

The working group on legal regulation is one of the two permanent working groups of ERRA. It meets twice a year in one of the countries of Association. This group makes thematic reports, studies and other documents, discuss topical issues of legal regulation of energy. ERRA was founded in December 2000 and include energy regulatory authorities from 15 countries in Europe and Eurasia, and Moldova.

ERRA includes 23 valid, 3 associated and 3 affiliated members. The main task of ERRA is assistance and improvement of the regulating process in the power sector, development of independent and stable regulatory authorities and strengthening relations between them.
