OREANDA-NEWS. March 7, 2008. President of the Bank of Moscow Andrei Borodin and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Lev Alaluev have announced that they have additionally gained control over a number of companies holding 8.9% of the authorised equity capital of the Bank of Moscow. Thus, the aggregate ownership interest controlled by the given persons has increased to 17.62% of the Bank’s authorised equity capital. The ratio of ownership interests in the given portfolio remains the same.

The biggest shareholder in the Bank is the Government of Moscow, with 43.99%, as well as OAO Moskovskaya Strakhovaya Kompaniya, with 15.37%, which belongs to OAO Stolichnaya Strakhovaya Gruppa, controlled by the Government of Moscow and the Bank of Moscow Group.

At the present time, the Bank has issued 130 000 932 shares with a par value of 100 roubles.
