OREANDA-NEWS. March 12, 2008. Gazprom’s Regional Policy Commission conducted its regular session chaired by Valery Golubev, Head of the Commission and Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee.

The Commission addressed information related to establishing Gazprom transgaz Kuban and Gazprom dobycha Orenburg, non-commercial corporate associations involving Gazprom subsidiaries located in the Krasnodar Krai and the Orenburg Oblast, respectively.

The associations were set up to coordinate and represent common interests of the Gazprom subsidiaries operating in one region and collaborating with regional authorities and public, and also to develop and coordinate industrial, social and informational projects of Gazprom’s subsidiaries and to strengthen corporate culture.

The core business units were tasked to review the practice of establishing non-commercial associations of Gazprom’s entities within one Russian Federation constituent unit and to submit proposals for developing similar organizations in other regions.
