OREANDA-NEWS.  On 12 March 2008 Prykarpattiaoblenergo reported a 47% increase in net income to $1 mln along with a 17% rise in net sales and 39% growth in EBIT. The company showed the lowest net sales increase in the sector in 2007 due to a 3% drop in net electricity deliveries to consumers, which was accompanied by a 4% decline in regional production. The DisCo decreased electricity losses in its grids by 0.23 ppt to 13%, which is below PREN’s normative level of 14%. PREN has one of the smallest debts to the power pool of $12 mln and an AP/Sales ratio of 0.11x. However, the company did not make debt repayments in 2007.
