OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 March 2008 was announced, that in 2007 "Small-size Transformer Plant" (MGT) began its commercial activity in the Russian market. 42 % of all export falls on Russia. This extension of dealer network let the company provided 35 per cent of sale in Russia. Meanwhile in 2007 the production of the company was certificated according to Russian standards for a term of three years which reinforced the positions of STP in the Russian market. "In 2007 we intend to continue the extension of our presence in the market of Russia. A number of contracts on the realization of which we are now working has already been signed - said Alina Zima, Director General of MGT

Another important direction of our activity is the market of Estonia and Lithuania, where we have to compete with well-known European manufacturers ABB, Paulus, AREVA. We count to enter the market of Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tadzhikistan) with help of cooperation with "Zaporozhtransformator" representative office.
