OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 March 2008 wX5 Retail Group announced the conclusion of the ‘Days of Respect’ program that was held in all Perekrestok stores in Moscow and the Moscow Region from February 29 to March 9, 2008.

During the program, special discounts were available at all the chain’s stores. Furthermore, the oldest ‘Club Perekrestok’ cardholders were given hundreds of valuable gifts, including name-brand household appliances, healthcare products and other prices.

X5 Retail Group traditionally devotes its attention to social issues and always strives to support the elderly in Russia. By using events such as ‘Days of Respect,’ the company hopes to provide an example of socially responsible business and focus the attention of Russian businesses on the necessity of devoting attention to socially vulnerable sections of the population.
