OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2008. The Odesa Oil Refinery, the fourth upon its capacity in Ukraine, will resume work after reconstruction on April 7, Mykola Chornyi, OJSC Lukoil Vice President told journalists after a meeting of the Investors Council with participation of Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

According to him, the enterprise will reach the planned processing volumes in the second half of April. The refinery will produce petroleum of Euro-3 standard and diesel oil of the Euro-4 standard.

It is planned to process about 2 million tons of oil. The enterprise's capacities are capable of processing about 3 million tons of oil a year. The 2008 plans envisage processing 200 thousand of raw materials monthly.

The OJSC Lukoil-Odesa Refinery will invest into its development about USD 30 million in 2008. In 2009, Chornyi noted, this index may grow to USD 60 million.

The enterprise plans to achieve the oil refinery rate at 96 percent, at the same time, light oil products output will make up 74 percent.
