OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 March 2008 was announced, that Sokolniki Exhibition Centre welcomed the 6th International Specialized Exhibition of equipment, materials, parts and technologies for producing separable and non-separable fasteners and equipment for manufacturing of fastener elements FASTTEC 2008.

The opening ceremony was led by Alexander Kvasnikov. “Being the consolidating centre of the industry, the exhibition completely reflects the growth and progress of the Russian hardware market. This year the exhibition has attracted 50 new companies, the exhibition area has increased by 30% as compared with 2007. FASTTEC has proved its leadership”. The Moscow Duma Deputy Alexander Krutov highlighted the importance of fasteners for different industries and human life. “Globalization is revealed in this sphere like in no other. Using of common standards enables international cooperation of companies. Russian companies should stick to each other, and FASTTEC is the best way to study the market and establish new business relations”, said he in his speech. Alexander Semenov, Director General of the RosMetiz Association, wished the exhibitors and guests profitable contacts and effective and continuous networking. Alexander Volovik, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Natural Science and President of the Motherland Non-Governmental Organization, wished everybody good luck.

The exhibition attracted the companies from China, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Belarus, Russia, Slovakia, Turkiye, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Taiwan.

The framework of the FASTTEC 2008 business program will include various seminars and presentation shows. The business program covers the core points of the hardware industry development.
The exhibition will work till March 21.
