OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 March 2008 was announced, that the construction of the first Moscow centre for small-scale business is to be launched in Mitino, the northwestern district of the city, in 2009.

“Such centres will be put up for supporting and developping the small-scale enterprises operating in the city and the small-scale business generally,” a site of the Moscow’s department of support and development of small-scale business said. According to Marina Dyomina, secretary of the department, the construction will be carried out round the year.

The area of the 11-storey building will equal almost 50,000 square metres.

There will be a banquet room, a conference hall for 190 persons and a cafe on the topmost storey of the centre of small-scale business. The offices will be located on storeys 3-7, two lower storeys will be occupied by exhibition halls, cloakrooms and engineering and utility services rooms. A roofed car park will be built near the centre, the area of which will be adorned with lawns and trees.

The business seminars and master classes for the representatives of small-scale business will be conducted in the centre regularly , a source added.
