OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2008.  RAO "UES of Russia" has produced a number of new standards for the organization of operation and maintenance of its power plants – "Buildings and Facilities of Thermal Power Plants. The Standards were developed in accordance with the Federal Law On Technical Regulation.

The Standards are designed to ensure compliance with the technical regulation requirements in the operation and maintenance of buildings of TPPs, HPPs, which ensure their maximum safety and efficiency.

The Standards will be used by the personnel of energy companies, power plants, repair and installation/scientific and research and other specialised organizations engaged in operational control of condition of power plants' buildings and facilities.

RAO UES believe that the new Standards will make it possible for the energy companies to improve the safety and reliability of power plants during the post-reform period while implementing a common technical policy in the electricity sector.
