OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2008. AB SAMPO bankas has signed a cooperation agreement with UAB EUROCASH1 which will provide security and collection services. The company will provide collection services for both clients of the bank, and the bank itself.

SAMPO bankas has become the second financial institution operating in Lithuania where clients are able to select one of the two companies providing collection services. The first of them, which SAMPO bankas currently works with, is "Falck Security" (their new name is G4S — Group 4 Securicor).

According to Lidija Bocharnikova, director of the Banking Operations Department of SAMPO bankas, an agreement with EUROCASH1 will enable clients to choose between two providers of collection services. This will allow clients to select better service conditions while retaining a high level of service.

"Having signed an agreement with SAMPO bankas we will continue to implement a strategic plan in order to expand our activities in the collection services market. Presently, we are also undergoing discussions regarding cooperation with other banks and enterprises operating in Lithuania", said Vytautas Labeckas, director of EUROCASH1.

This summer EUROCASH1 will finish the installation of collection and money recounting centers in Kaunas, Klaipeda and Panevezhys.
