OREANDA-NEWS. The Gomel Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) launched the Virtual Exhibitions in Belarus Project (www.virtualexpo.by) on April 1. Belarusian companies will be able to present their products in the Internet network without designing their own websites.

This is the first project of the kind in Belarus. Its objective is to support companies and firms in advancing goods and services using up-to-date IT.

The project is a multifunctional information resource containing an array of thematic sections – exhibitions. Today, the website offers potential partners to partake in 19 exhibitions on such themes as Engineering Industry and Metal Working, Agriculture and Farmlands, Construction, Furniture Salon, Clothes, Footwear, Accessories and others. Every section provides the booths of the participants in the form of unified textual or graphic information. One has to send in an application and all necessary documents to participate in an exhibition.

The Gomel Office added that economic agents of Belarus as well as of other countries are able to partake in the project. The English-language version of Virtual Exhibitions will expand the geography of website visitors.
