OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 April 2008 was announced, that more than 53,000 square metres of housing and 7,000 square metres of nonresidential premises are to be built within the complex reconstruction of blocks 55-56 of Filyovsky Park area in the western Moscow.

“All new domestic houses will have underground car parks with the total capacity of 1,151 parking spaces,” an employee of the city mayor’s office of Moscow said.

According to the source, 4 houses will be demolished on 2nd Filyovskaya Street, 7 houses – on 3rd Filyovskaya Street, 1 house – on Barklaya Street and 1 more – on Kastanaevskaya Street.

The reconstruction of the blocks was launched in 2006. Throughout this period the builders have erected 5 residential buildings with the area of more than 41,000 square metres, 19,800 among them are allocated for resettlement of Muscovites living in the dilapidated housing.
