OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 April 2008 was announced, that the next meeting of club "Young power men" took place in USTU-UPI on faculties "Turbines and engines", "Thermal power stations" and "Automated electric systems". The best teachers of faculties showed device of boilers, turbines and other equipment of thermal power stations to children, made imitation of an emergency case which happens on power station. They told how yesterday schoolboys become young turbines machinists, dispatchers, masters and invited children to study on the best power faculties of the country.

After USTU-UPI children went to the consumer of thermal energy TGC-9 - a botanical garden. They saw, in what way owing to the created atmosphere of a tropical climate, in hothouses banana and coffee trees, pineapples and lemons huge fern grow.

Information: the club “Young power men” has been working six years. Meetings are spent monthly. For this time children visited and got acquainted with power objects practically all over Sverdlovsk area: Kachkanarskaya, Artemovskaya, krasnogorskaya, Novo-Sverdlovskaya Thermal Power Station, Reftinskaya, Nizhneturinskaya, Sredneuralskaya State District Power Station, Verkhoturskaya HPS.
