OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 April 2008 IMB Group, Ukraine’s leading consumer finance company, announced changes in the management structure of its Ukrainian bank subsidiary International Mortgage Bank. 
 
Yuri Blaschuk, the current Chairman of the Management Board of IMB, will join the Supervisory Board of IMB as its Chairman.  Mr. Blaschuk will also join the Supervisory Board of the parent company, IMB Group, where he will assume chairmanship of the Audit and Compliance Committee and of the Corporate Responsibility Committee.  The position of the Chairman of the Management Board of IMB will be assumed by Gregory Krasnov, who will continue in his position as the Chief Executive Officer of IMB Group.  These changes will be implemented at the Shareholders Meeting of IMB to take place in January 2008.
 
Announcing the changes, Joel Epstein, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IMB Group, said:  “The shareholders are very excited about the realignment of management responsibilities.  We believe that Yuri Blaschuk’s move to the IMB Bank Supervisory Board and IMB Group Supervisory Board will enable the company to leverage his extensive experience in all aspects of banking and provide the company with improved strategic direction going forward, in particular in the areas of regulatory compliance and social responsibility.  Greg Krasnov’s appointment as Chairman of the IMB Management Board, in addition to his current role as IMB Group CEO, will simplify management lines of communication and help to speed to introduction of new products and services. Our challenge today is to further accelerate the pace of growth, while maintaining strict standards of regulatory compliance of our bank subsidiary.   These management changes are designed to facilitate this growth while at the same time strengthening and enhancing controls and compliance standards.”
 
Yuri Blaschuk joined International Mortgage Bank as CEO in November 2004. He has over than 25 years of reach professional experience in banking. Mr. Blaschuk started his career back in 1980 as an economist of the State Bank branch and in 1988 was promoted to Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Bank Department. Since 1992 he worked in the system of National Bank of Ukraine. During 1992-1998 Y. Blaschuk held the position of Deputy Head of Kyiv City and Region Department and handled the issues of monetary regulation, currency control and banking supervision. From August 1998 to October 2004 - Chairman of the Board of Open Joint Stock Company Vseukrainsky Aktsionerny Bank (VABank). Mr. Blaschuk graduated in 1980 from Kyiv National Economic University, specializing in Finance and Credit. In 2001 obtained the degree of Ph.D. in Economics with specialization “World economy and international economic relations”.
 
Mr. Krasnov joined IMB Group as CEO in April 2006, when IMB Group was created through the combination of IMB and Family Credit.  Before the merger, Mr.Krasnov was the leading co-founder of Family Credit.  At IMB Group, Mr.Krasnov drove the creation and execution of the new strategy of the company, including developing the platform for further growth, attracting the new members of the management team, and securing significant incremental international funding.  Prior to joining IMB Group, Mr. Krasnov gained over 10 years of international banking and private equity experience at Bank of America (US and Western Europe) and Innova Capital (Central Europe).  He is a graduate of Cambridge University (UK) and Arizona State University (USA).  Mr.Krasnov is a Ukrainian-born U.S. Citizen and speaks fluent English, Polish and Russian.
