OREANDA-NEWS. April 3, 2008. A scheduled round of negotiations between Stroytransgaz and the North Oil Company has taken place in Amman, Jordan. Negotiations concerned a project for inspection and reconstruction of the Kirkuk-Baniyas export oil pipeline.

Representatives of the two sides discussed technical issues of the condition of the pipeline system and the terms for carrying out the work. They reached principal agreement about the participation of Stroytransgaz in rebuilding the Kirkuk-Baniyas oil pipeline and signed a corresponding protocol.

Stroytransgaz’s participation in this project will be a significant contribution toward the renewal and modernization of the economic infrastructure of Iraq.
