OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 April 2008 was announced, that flour market of the Republic of Tatarstan is highly competitive, characterized by a number of local milling enterprises. However, the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East, the PAVA company steadily collaborates with the Republic during a few years, gradually increasing the volumes of deliveries. For instance, today the Tatarstan sales of flour produced by OJSC PAVA increased two times compared to the beginning of 2006.

A monthly average volume of PAVA flour consumed by Tatarstan amounts to 1000 tonnes a month. Wholesaler companies in the Republic purchase the high and first-grade weight flour as well as small-packed flour from the Altai grain processor. The share of the latter stands at about 40% of the total.

Managers of the PAVA Department of Sales note that long-standing partners in Tatarstan tend to double their purchases lately compared to the past year’s medium. This is explained both by the credit given to a high quality of the PAVA flour and the fact that sales of the Altai flour help their own business to develop successfully: new affiliates are opened and new customers arrive.

PAVA intends to further develop the Tatarstan market. Currently, negotiations are being conducted aimed at including flour brands of the grain processor (“PAVA” and “Altai- Batyushka”) into large trading networks of the Republic.
