OREANDA-NEWS. On April 04, 2008 Global Finance summed up a research “Best Asian emerging market banks”. 20 countries took part in the research. Leading analysts and experts in the area of international finance in cooperation with the editors of Global Finance participated as members of the evaluation committee, reported the press-centre of AsiaUniversalBank.

While evaluating candidate banks the jury considered the following criteria: assets and income growth, strategic relations, level and quality of customer services, competitive pricing and innovative products. AsiaUniversalBank was acknowledged to be the best bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

"Under the growth of the global economy the world’s emerging markets are rapidly gaining more and more attention of the international community, – said Josef Jiarraputo, the publisher of Global Finance.- We ascertained the banks offering services to financial institutions that endeavor to expand their activities despite harsh market conditions".

The best banks in the neighboring countries, according to the jury, are BTA (Kazakhstan), ICBC (China), and Credit-Standard Bank (Uzbekistan).
