OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 April 2008 was announced, that main divisions of the exhibition: materials and constructions for wooden construction, insulation and roofing materials, wood care products, engineering equipment and woodworking machine tools, small wooden architectural forms, decoration materials, wood in interior. A separate division is wood protection technologies and means: lacquers and paints, sealants, stains and finishes. Woodworking division will be presented wider.

The exhibition organizers set themselves a task to construct the common information space, contributing establishment of the mutually beneficial business contacts between experts of adjacent market segments and private visitors, forming a wider market and giving a new impulse to business development. The "Affordable and comfortable housing" state program realization highly contributes to all the above-said, its result is the planning all-over-country increase of low-rise construction with the use of natural materials.

More than 140 exhibitors (10% of them – foreign companies) took part in the 2007 exhibition. Number of visitors exceeded 14 000 people from 27 regions of Russia. Due to a wide promotional and advertising campaign, both in national and in foregn mass media, visitors from the USA, Aistria, Germany, Holland, China, Mongolia, Finland, Sweden came to the exhibition. In 2008 the organizers are looking for the 15% excess of exhibitors and visitors.

Such leading companies as Honka, Kontio, Rovaniemi, Ruflex, Vuokatti, Finnish Association of Wooden Construction, Vyatskiy Dom, Global Edge, Narkhozstroy, Rogneda, Roshchinskiy dom, SDM Noviy Dom, State House, Tamak and others have already declared their participation in this exhibition event.

The “New in Wooden Construction” conference will work for professionals, organizing with the support of the Association of Wooden Construction (St. Petersburg, Russia).

The “WELLNESS & SPA. SWIMMING POOLS AND SAUNAS”, “FIREPLACES SALON” and a brand new project “HOUSE AND GARDEN” exhibitions, being held simultaneously, will provide higher efficiency to the project.

The “WOODEN HOUSE " exhibition concept means a complex approach to private country area development: from wooden house construction to an accomplishment of a garden as a natural continuation of the house.
