OREANDA-NEWS. April 10, 2008. During Q1 2008 Ukio bankas has earned LTL 16,1 million in net unaudited profit, which is 11 percent more compared to the profit earned in Q1 2007 (LTL 14,5 million) and 8 percent more than planned (LTL 14, million), reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

“During the first quarter this year we continued offering services relevant to our clients and worked with promotion campaigns. These activities resulted in growing profits and numbers of new clients,” said chairwoman of Ukio bankas Board Edita Karpaviciene.

By the end of Q1 2008 Ukio bankas assets amounted to LTL 3,95 billion, deposit and LC portfolio reached LTL 2.66 billion. During the first three months of 2008 the net value of the bank’s loan portfolio grew by 8 percent from LTL 2,36 up to 2,55 billion. The number of the bank’s active clients increased by 5,1 thousand or 4 percent during the first three months.

Ukio bankas offers a wide range of services both to private and business clients. The Bank has 12 branches and 43 Client Service Units all over Lithuania.
