OREANDA-NEWS. April 10, 2008. As it was informed in the Ministry of Finance, PEFA – Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability assessment will be held on April 7-18.

The main objective of the assessment is to present information on public finance management system in Moldova and to define the most problematic areas.

PEFA assessment is the tool of analysis and support to donors while granting necessary aid to the government of Moldova. The presentation held on April, 7th, was attended by the director of WB for Moldova Melanie Marlette, the deputy minister of finance Nina Lupan, representatives of the parliament, Accounting chamber, the National social insurance agency, the National company of medical insurance, the Service of financial control and audit, Agency of material reserves, state purchases and humanitarian aid, community of donors and other bodies involved in PEFA assessment.
