OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 April 2008 was announced, that the hotels designed to accommodate altogether 80,000 guests are to be built in Moscow in 2 years to come.

30 hotels, mostly three-star ones, are planned to be built in the Russian capital by 2010. Grigory Antyufeev, chairman of the tourism committee of Moscow, noted that more often the tourists claimed exactly three-star hotels.

Over 200 hotels with the total capacity of more than 70,000 rooms are currently operating in Moscow. Mr Antyufeev said that such hotel accommodation wasn’t enough in consideration of the constantly growing tourism in the Russian capital
