OREANDA-NEWS. On April 29, 2008 as announced by deputy head of FinMin customs and tariffs department’s Alexander Sakovish, Russia is to raise its crude oil export duties to USD 399 per metric ton vs. current USD 340 per ton as of June 1.

To remind, oil and oil products export duties are revised every two months, depending on oil prices on the world markets and other factors.

The duty on exports of light oil products is going to increase to USD 280 – USD 282 from current USD 241,4 per ton, while duty on heavy oil products is going to increase to USD 151- USD 152pe ton.
