OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2008. The Russian Ministry of Agriculture (Minselkhoz Russia) executed the determination of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) by eliminating violations of the antimonopoly legislation, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 18th April 2008, FAS Russia recognized that Minselkhoz Russia violated Article 15 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" and issued a determination to eliminate the violations.

The case was initiated upon a petition of "Snabtekh" Ltd. Minselkhoz Russia violated the law by setting the requirements for presenting a voucher of a personal single authorization (license) for seizing of the wildlife, classified as hunting fauna, to the persons involved in provision, processing, transportation, storage and sales of the products of animal origin, including rawhides, hides & fur and fur-skin materials, but not directly involved in the hunting industry, as well as to the legal persons engaged in the hunting industry.

Having considered the case, FAS Russia issued a determination to Minselkhoz Russia requesting it to eliminate the violations. The ministry executed the determination, and presented to FAS Russia a copy of its Order "On Introducing Amendments to the Order of Minselkhoz Russia of 3rd August 2007", submitted to the Russian Ministry of Justice for official registration. The new Order removed the requirements for presenting a voucher of a personal single authorization (license) for seizing of the wildlife, classified as hunting fauna.
