OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2008. The delegation of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation (FAS Russia) took part in the OECD Seminar on Topics of Competition Policy that is being held for the second time in OECD-Hungary Regional Centre for Competition (RCC) in Budapest, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

This seminar was primarily oriented at the case studies involving mergers, abuse of dominance and price fixing. Within these three broad areas, the experts provided specific guidance on a variety of areas such as assessing market power, tests of abuse of dominance, remedies and sanctions, assigning market shares, obstruction of justice, joint ventures, and handling trade association issues.

The FAS Russia representatives presented a number of cases on vertical agreements and abuse of dominance that were of great interest both to the experts and participants of the Seminar.

Within the frameworks of the Seminar participants from different countries exchanged their experience in national competition law enforcement.
