RBD Took Part at «Collecting Business in Russia» Conference
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 30, 2008 representatives of the Russian Bank for Development took part in the All-Russian conference "Collecting Business in Russia". Among others the problem of recovery SME bad debts was discussed at the conference, reported the press-centre of RBD.
According to some participants percentage of SME overdue funds on the whole less than in the consumers’ lending sector. At that an average SME loan exceeds by far the analogous parameter of the physical bodies. These facts require establishing a unified base of SME credit histories. Most aspects of the given activity, in particular, methods of automatic collection, processing and analysis of information from various sources, have been already worked out on the segment of the consumers’ lending.
Representatives from the Ministry of Economic Development, the State Duma, the Bank of Russia, Association of Russian Banks and Collectors’ Associations took part in this conference, organized by National Association of Collectors.
