OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 May 2008 was announced, that the General Director of OJSC EuroChem Dmitry Strezhnev and the head of the city of Nevinnomyssk Victor Ledovskoy signed the agreement for social and economic cooperation for 2008 and recognized results of fulfillment of the similar agreement in 2007 as positive and expressed their certitude about the necessity for further development of mutually advantageous cooperation.

In accordance with the signed document EuroChem will carry out a complex of activities at the amount not less than 500 million rubles for technical re-equipment, reconstruction and optimization of production aimed also at ensuring of environmental and industrial safety thereof. In particular, the investment program provides for expansion of use of resource saving technologies, implementation of modernization of 3 aggregates type 1/3,5 for production of nitrogen acid, implementation of economizer condenser at workshops for production of ammonia, implementation of new systems for reduction of protoxid and nitrogen oxides in tail gases, execution of arrangement of the sanitary protection area at the accumulator of solid wastes, execution of activities for improvement of reliability of operation of map No.5 of the accumulator of solid wastes “Volchya Balka”.

The company also assumes the obligation to provide population of the region with jobs with a competitive level of remuneration and social benefits and to timely transfer tax and non-tax payments forming local and regional budgets. For implementation of charity programs for development of science, education, sport and medical care in the region it is planned to allocate 35 million rubles. In particular, EuroChem will act as sponsor of the Olympic Reserve School, acquisition of medical equipment for the city hospital and planting of city streets and other regional needs.

On its part the administration of the city obliges to improve organizational and legal conditions for development of activity of the enterprise in the territory of Nevinnomyssk, to improve quality of medical care and affordability thereof for the population including employees and veterans of “Nevinomyssky Azot”.
