OREANDA-NEWS. May 07, 2008. The first S7 Airlines Dublin-Moscow flight was christened on 27 April 2008, Easter Sunday, in the terminal building of Dublin Airport. The rite was performed by the Rector of Ss Peter and Paul Parish in Dublin Archpriest Mikhail Gogolev of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ireland, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

S7 Airlines is the only airline to open regular direct flights on this route. Flights between Moscow and Dublin will be operated three times a week (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) on modern Airbus A319 airliners. As of today the average occupancy rate of the flights exceeds 70%. According to forecasts, sales of tickets on the flight will rise by the beginning of the summer period, when tourists and future students of language courses and Irish higher educational institutions will fly to Dublin.

Flights between Moscow and Dublin will be operated on modern comfortable Airbus A319 airliners with business class salons. The airliners of this type are considered among the best of the Airbus A320 family. They are distinguished by high economic efficiency and meet all modern flight safety requirements.
