OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 May 2008 was announced, that S7 airline, one of the largest Russian carriers, and Krasair, the leader of aviation AirUnion alliance continue developing its partnership with Moscow International Airport Domodedovo.

On May, 11 S7 airline resumed the forth daily flight to Rostov-on-Don, increasing the number of flights to 28 per week. The convenient time will allow passengers to arrive in Moscow by the beginning of a working day. S7 is the only airline performing regular flights between Domodedovo airport and Rostov-on-Don.

A stable passenger growth has been registered on this route In Moscow aviation hub. Last year, 573,000 passengers were carried, that is a 44% rise over 2006.

On May 12, S7 airline launched the second flight from Domodedovo airport to Barnaul. The additional evening flights will be performed by A-319 daily except Saturdays.

The increasing the number of flights on this route allows passengers to choose the most convenient departure and arrival time to the destination.

On May, 12 Kras Air airline resumed flights to Sochi. The flights will be performed daily by Boeing-737-300. From June, 5 the second daily flight will be opened. For a long time, Sochi remains popular among Russian tourists in summer season. In 2007, 995,000 passengers were carried on this route that is a 12,3% rise over previous year.
