OREANDA-NEWS. May 15, 2008. Vladimir Skatin has taken up the duties of Vice President of Bank “Saint Petersburg”.

Alexander Savelyev, Chairman of the Management Board, will soon introduce Vladimir Skatin to the Bank’s Supervisory Board for his approval as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. After the decision of Supervisory Board, the respective documents will be filed with the Saint Petersburg Head Office of the Bank of Russia.

Vladimir Skatin will be responsible for development of the Bank’s corporate banking services.

Vladimir Skatin was born in 1956 in the town of Chernikovsk, Republic of Bashkiria. He graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute in 1979 and Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance in 1998. He is a PhD in Economics.

Vladimir Skatin began his career at the Kirovsky Plant, where he worked as a foreman, a head of workshop and since 1989 as Deputy Director General for Economics and Finance. In 1995 he moved to the Industry & Construction Bank of Saint Petersburg (currently Bank VTB North-West) to hold office of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. In 2001 he was appointed First Deputy Chairman and from 2006 to 2007 he acted as Chairman of the Management Board.
