OREANDA-NEWS. On May 14, 2008 Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) informed that ATFBank JSC (Almaty) was assigned the status or the member of the Agreement on construction of Kazakhstan inter-bank deposits indicator KazPrime dated March 27, 2007 (further - the Agreement). The relevant statement submitted to KASE by the bank was considered by the participants of the Agreement, and each of them approved the initiative of ATFBank JSC on becoming a member of the Agreement, reported the press-centre of KASE.

By the decision of the KASE Board of May 13, 2008, May 19, 2008 was set as the date of the beginning of quotes announcement for ATFBank JSC.

KazPrime represents an indicator of the money value (KZT) at their offering on the deposits of the inter-bank market among the banks of the best credit quality for Kazakhstan. KazPrime is calculated on a daily basis according to the values of the quotes, which are submitted to the KASE trading system by the members of the Agreement.

Commercial banks, operating on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan may be the members of the Agreement. Each member must be an active participant of the Republican inter-bank money market, have a good name and credit quality, satisfying other Members. The number of members may be between five and ten.

Currently the following banks are members of the Agreement (banks are listed in the alphabetical order; all the headquarters are located in Almaty):

1. ATFBank JSC;

2. Bank TuranAlem JSC;

3. Subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank Kazakhstan JSC;

4. Kazkommertsbank JSC;

5. Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC;

6. Citibank Kazakhstan JSC;

7. Subsidiary of HSBC Bank Kazakhstan JSC.

KASE is the organizer of the Agreement and calculates and releases the values of KazPrime.
