OREANDA-NEWS. On May 21, 2008 The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine permitted SCM Group to concentrate over 50% of Parallel-M Ltd (Donetsk) focused on petroleum products retail under Parallel trademark, reported the press-centre of SCM.

At the moment SCM Group owns 24% of authorized stock of Parallel-M Ltd. Once all formalities of the purchase and sale transaction are over, the petroleum products retailer Parallel-M Ltd will become a part of SCM Group. The deal is expected to be finalized within next two months.

SCM Group owns a filling stations network selling petroleum Products under Gefest and PitStop trademarks in Donetsk, Lugansk, Kirovograd, Sumy, Kharkov, Zaporozh'ye, Dnepropetrovsk, Transcarpathian regions, as well as in the Crimea. Integration of Parallel company in SCM Group is another step to strengthen position of the Group on petroleum products trade market.
