OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 May 2008 was announced, that in 2009 the Company will invest over 650 m rubles in the grid economy of the region. It is set out in the 2009 investment project that recently has passed all the necessary harmonisation and  has recently been approved by the regional administration.

The largest sources of investments become profit of "Bryanskenergo", a JSC "IDGC of Centre" subsidiary, (313 m rubles) and amortisation (181 m rubles).

As compared to 2008, the investment will grow by almost  120 m rubles. According to the long-term investment program, within five next years the Company plans to invest over 2.3 bn rubles  in the reconstruction and construction of new facilities of "Bryanskenergo".

Among the most considerable actions of 2008-2009 it is necessary to note reconstruction of "Sovetskaya" substation. This year the first launch complex was fully put into operation; in 2009 it is planned to put into operation the second one. As a result the substation will reach the capacity equal to 105 MVA. It will allow to increase considerably possibilities for joining of  new enterprises located in Bryansk boundaries.

The Company also plans major reconstruction of "Kamvolnaya", "Mamonovskaya", "Fokinskaya", and "Zarechnaya" substations. The reconstruction of "Fokinskaya" substation with   installation of the third 110/35/6 kV transformer and "Zarechnaya" substation with installation of the second 10 MVA transformer  will lead to increase of their capacity that is essential for power supply of  the fast developing Fokinsky district of the regional centre. Besides, it will also create a reliable reserve for economic development of the served areas.

Modernisation of substations will be continued. Obsolete oil switches will be replaced with modern vacuum ones; old storage batteries will also be replaced. 

In 2009 the Company plans to invest around 70 m rubles in  reconstruction of distribution networks that provides replacement of bare wire with self-supporting covered wire. The lines equipped with it are practically not liable to damage in weather emergencies and are not valuable for hunters of nonferrous metals. Next year the program of development of the Customers Service Center (CSC) also will be continued; it is planned to direct over 13 m rubles for it.
