OREANDA-NEWS. May 26, 2008. The Russian Bank for Development has signed an agreement with one of the major banks of Tatarstan – JSC AIKB Tatfondbank – to open a credit line worth RUR 300 million, reported the press-centre of Russian Bank for Development.

The Agreement is targeted on realization of the development strategy of the State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)” in terms of SME loan support.
 
In accordance with the agreement the priority in SME lending shall be given to projects carried out in the industrial sectors of the Russian economy as well as in science innovations and high technologies. Moreover support shall be directed to the regional infrastructure projects.
 
JSC AIKB Tatfondbank is one of the oldest RBD’s partners and it has cooperated with RBD in the area of SME loan support since 2004. Recently within the above cooperation SME enterprises have received nearly 1 thousand loans for a total amount of RUR 2 billion.
