OREANDA-NEWS. On June 02, 2008 UNIStream international money transfer system has signed a cooperation agreement with National Bank of Uzbekistan.

The agreement provides development of service points through branches of the bank. This way UNIStream will widen its service network in the republic by more than 200 points.

The agreement was signed in the framework of the CIS and global service points' development programme, said Suren Airyan, UNIStream Director General.

These days market is developing very steadily. It is stimulated by increasing migration processes, it forms new corridors of money transfers and one of the most prospective is Europe-Russia-Central Asia, notes S. Airyan emphasizing that system pays a special attention to development of this important direction.

He also noted that market finally transferred into new stage of high requirement of clients to rendered services in 2008 and global development of network is important component of quality improvement process.

He informed that system have operated 300 points of service in Uzbekistan before conclusion of agreement and turnover in 2007 increased to US\\$420 million comparing with US\\$145 million in 2006.

There are eight financial partner-institutes of the system in the republic such as Hamkorbank joint-stock commercial bank, Asaka State joint-stock commercial bank, Ipak Yuli joint-stock innovation commercial bank.

Rendering service to 4 million clients annually, UNIStream international money transfers system reached US\\$3,7 billion turnover in 2007. The system operates more than 65,000 points of service in 90 countries worldwide. Having 30% of market share in CIS the system confidently realizes its strategy directed to reformation into large international business.
