OREANDA-NEWS. On June 02, 2008 The Polish-Ukrainian Economic Chamber and Ternopil Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) signed a cooperation agreement in Ternopil (West Ukraine). This resulted from the accords achieved in late May during the 3rd International Investment Forum in Ternopil, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

The parties agreed to promote developing entrepreneurship, to exchange information about legislative and normative acts regulating foreign economic activity, state and prospects of economics development in the regions. In frames of the instrument it is planned to hold business meetings, seminars, conferences, and other events to familiarize the partners with economics and export-import capabilities of Ternopil region and Poland.

Representatives of the Polish-Ukrainian Economic Chamber and Ternopil CCI also agreed to hold joint exhibitions of Ukrainian and Polish products.

Set up in 1992, the Polish-Ukrainian Economic Chamber integrates a number of Polish and Ukrainian economic entities. The main goal of the organization is to bring together the interests of Ukrainian and Polish businessmen, build up the image of Poland and Ukraine as quality economic partners.
