OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 June 2008 was announced, that Ohotnik [hunter] hotel is to open on the place of the Central house of hunters and fishers in north Moscow in July 2008.

“The official opening of OHOTNIK hotel is expected to be in July of this year but the hotel has been already commissioned and is being prepared for the official opening,” Andrey Kanorsky, CEO of Avant Group, hotel management company, said.

According to the CEO, the hotel hasn’t been evaluated by Rosturizm yet but it corresponds to a three-star one.

“Moscow has shortage of three-star hotels and rooms for a reasonable price. Now the cost of accommodation in it is too expensive for the people from the regions who come here on business – the trip to Moscow becomes golden for them. I think that the launch of our hotel will enable to increase for little more affordability of accommodation in Moscow,” Mr Kanorsky emphasized.

The official specified that the hotel had the area of 3,000 sq m and a number of rooms was equal to 104.

“The appearance of the hotel is the result of redeveloping the Central house of hunters and fishers launched in February 2007,” Mr Kanorsky noted.

He added that, besides the hotel rooms, there would be a business centre of class B with the area of 4,000 sq m in the building contained Ohotnik.
