OREANDA-NEWS. June 10, 2008. German businessmen are willing to develop an economic partnership with the Moldovan entrepreneurs dealing with constructions, reported the press-centre of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.

The issue was considered at a meeting, held on 4th of June, between the Vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Didilica and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Lower Bavaria, Ludwig Rechenmacher. The latter heads a Lower Bavarian delegation which came to Moldova to participate in the Moldovan-German Cooperation Exchange.

According to Ludwig Rechenmacher, the German delegation came to Moldova to establish cooperation relations and to exchange experience in the construction sector.

Vladimir Didilica said that Germany is one of Moldova's most important economic partners and that the bilateral trade relations advance year by year.

Referring to the cooperation relations between the two chambers, Didilica said they are developing due to joint projects with the trade and industry chambers from Koblenz and Munchen, Germany, as well as due to the Moldovan-German Business Partnership project.

Mr. Didilica invited the German guests to attend the National Wine Holiday, held annually in Chisinau in October. The two sides shared the opinion that the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two chambers will help extend the Moldovan-German partnership and will encourage businessmen from the two states to participate in different projects.

Representatives of 15 German construction companies and about 50 Moldovan construction experts participated in the Moldovan-German Cooperation Exchange.
