Expecting a small anniversary ЁC the first year of Ў°Internet-banking for legal entitiesЎ± system activity Halyk Bank sums up preliminary results and declares on the campaign Ў°Internet-banking ЁC closer to YOUЎ±. As part of the campaign from 16 June through 16 July 2008 connection to internet-banking is free for all customers. To enter into electronic servicing agreement n organizationЎЇs representative can contact his bank manager or address his branch operation department.

Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan started its corporates electronic servicing in 1996. At that time such service was known as PC-banking, and a bit later as Ў°Bank-ClientЎ±. Time was passing, technologies were changing and 27 June 2007 the Bank switched over to a new modern commercial solution from Saint-Petersburg Ў°Bank Soft Sys-temЎ± that allowed to provide customers with more flexible solution. Now at connecting to the system Bank cus-tomers can choose Ў°Bank-ClientЎ± or Ў°Internet-ClientЎ± modules, connect to the Bank via special modem pool or directly via Internet. Such flexibility enables to optimize electronic bank servicing under any communication channels on the customer side and facilitate work with the Bank. One of innovations is that the client can work with all accounts opened with the Bank (current, card, deposits, loans). OrganizationЎЇs director now can use flexible instruments of accountant operations authorization (in terms of amount, currency, account and operation type). The distributed system of operations performance is very popular among our customers, when the ac-countant enters a payment document in Ў°Bank-ClientЎ± module and the director being in any part of the world using Ў°Internet-ClientЎ± signs the payment document by the second signature and sends it to the Bank. Organizations being serviced in the Bank highly appreciated new system and over incomplete first year after in-troduction the number of Halyk Bank electronic banking customers increased more than by 41% as compared to those customers which the Bank was acquiring within 11 years of electronic banking development. The turn-over of wire transfers via the system for YE2007 increased by 37% and comprised more KZT 4.5 trln. (ЎЦ USD 37.5 bn.).

Paying a close heed to security in Apr YE2008 the Bank started using international security certificate from world-wide leader in this sphere, company Ў°ThawteЎ± in order to protect its resources https://ib.halykbank.kz. SSL-certificate key length is 1024 bit and the key has full consistency with all known internet-browsers (Inter-net Explorer, Opera, Mazilla Firefox etc). It should be noted that this protection is additional to EDS used in the system with cryptography from the company Ў°Gamma TechnologyЎ± certified by the state.

It should be also mentioned that tracing system of provided service quality is used in the Bank. Once in 3 months the Bank inquires its customers on a number of electronic servicing issues based thereon more fine-tuning adjustment of the system and sometimes special changes are made. In addition to customer training when system installment starting from 2008 the Bank have been conducting regular additional training seminars for customers in each branch where they get to know on new services and system capabilities. We do our best in order to make electronic servicing more convenient for our customers.
