OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 June 2008 was announced, that Amur Sirius Power Equipment, a unit of China's Harbin Power Equipment, has provided guarantees to OGK-2 that it will make timely supplies of machinery to the Troitsk district power plant.

RAO Unified Energy System of Russia said that the recent earthquake in China hasn't affected equipment supplies to wholesale generator OGK-2.

RAO UES said that recent media reports, claiming that OGK-2 wants a delay in the commissioning of two new power blocks by one and a half years on the back of disrupted equipment supply from China, weren't true. China's Amur Sirius Power Equipment told UES that the power blocks ordered by OGK-2 will be delivered duly and that the earthquake didn't affect its production.

Earlier this week was said that OGK-2 wants the UES board to formally recognize the delay in implementing its investment program.
