OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2008. We inform you that between 1 and 14 June 2008, JSC OTKRITIE Brokerage House accepted requests to purchase or redeem investment shares in OTKRITIE Electricity Sector Interval Mutual Fund, managed by OTKRITIE Asset Management Ltd (licence for managing investment funds, mutual funds and non-state pension funds No 21-000-1-00048 of 11 April 2001 issued by the FFMS for an unlimited term), reported the press-centre of OTKRITIE Brokerage House.

OTKRITIE Russian Electricity Sector Interval Mutual Fund is a sectoral fund designed for investing funds in one of the most attractive segments of the domestic economy.

Funds of the fund’s depositors are invested in ordinary and preferred shares in the electricity sector. In case of unfavourable commercial opportunities on the stock market, some funds of depositors can be invested in corporate bonds of electricity companies.

The electric power industry is a steadily developing sector of the Russian economy that is less dependent on global oil-price fluctuations. The industry enjoys strong development opportunities, attracting Russian and foreign investors as a result of the reform of RAO UES, as well as the development of regional energy companies.

Distribution of the fund’s investment shares shall be conducted:

- to a person who does not have investment shares of the fund on his/her personal account in the register of investment share owners by depositing monies in the amount of at least RUB50,000 (fifty thousand roubles).

- to a person possessing the fund’s investment shares on his/her personal account in the register of investment share owners by depositing monies to the fund in the amount of at least RUB5,000 (five thousand roubles).

Only monies can be used to pay for the fund’s investment shares.

Prior to purchasing an investment share, you should study carefully the trust management rules for a mutual fund. The value of investment shares can increase and decrease. A past investment result does not define any future income. The state does not guarantee an investment yield in mutual funds. Charging bonuses (rebates) will reduce the investment yield of the investment shares of a mutual fund. The fund’s rules are registered by the FFMS on 23 May 2006, No 0520-94104603.
