OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 July 2008 was announced, that the city authorities of Moscow are to raise a housing estate with the area of 144,700 sq m in southeast Moscow within the implementation of New Ring of Moscow program.

“The designing and building of the object at the intersection of Pererva Street and Marshala Golovanova Street will be carried out during 2008-2015 at the expense of the city budget,” a source from Moscow City Hall said.

According to the source, a total area of the flats will work out 60,000 sq m, the other area will be used for parking garages and retail outlets.

The source also added that a garage complex and Mosvodostok state unitary enterprise would be removed from the area to develop. The owners of the garages to demolish in 2009-2010 will get parking spaces in a new garage complex set to be built at the expense of the city.
