OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2008. The insurance company ROSNO has signed a contract with one of the leading Indian IT companies 3i Infotech on purchase of the license for the use of the insurance information system Premia, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

This huge project for introduction of an international insurance system is unrivalled in Russia and constitutes a logical step towards implementation of ROSNO’s strategy of attaining technological leadership.

The Premia system developed by 3i Infotech has been implemented in over 140 companies throughout the world. It enables creating conditions for the use of the state-of-the-art technologies and international expertise in the insurance field. The system’s advantage lies in its functional breadth providing common space for support of the insurance company’s business processes in accordance with the international standards, covering CRM, Business Intelligence, and other units critical for any insurer.

ROSNO plans to replace the basic insurance system within three years. The first phase will touch upon voluntary medical insurance and will conclude in the first quarter of 2009. The company expects that introduction of the new system will increase efficiency of business processes and improve customer service quality, as CRM module will help to optimize performance of selling divisions and call centres.

According to the Deputy CEO of ROSNO Mr. Artyom Natrusov, who is in charge for the company’s IT operation, "ROSNO has traditionally upheld implementation of the best insurance practices, including international practices. However, high performance standards shall necessarily be supported by the corresponding level of business processes. This is exactly what we plan to achieve by introducing the Premia".
