OREANDA-NEWS. S7 Airlines, the largest Russian carrier by the number of transported passengers on domestic routes, is commencing from 7th July, 2008 regular flights on the route Novosibirsk – Krasnoyarsk – Novosibirsk. The flights will be four times a week on aircrafts of the Airbus A320 series, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

Purchase of tickets at the airlines’ website will cost a minimum of 802 rubles for a one-way ticket.

At S7 Airlines sales offices and at other air ticket counters the minimum cost of the ticket on the route Novosibirsk – Krasnoyarsk is 1002 rubles inclusive of fees. The cost of ticket in business class is from 7,407 rubles for a one-way ticket.

”We offer passengers a convenient flight comparable to the cost of a railway ticket, with flight time hardly more than an hour. This flight will be attractive to business passengers who fly often on business trips. They can take advantage of the comfortable business class cabin in the plane and S7 Airlines’ own business-lounge at the Novosibirsk airport Tolmachevo” - marks Sergei Kozin, General Representative of S7 Airlines in the Siberian region.

S7 Airlines is the first airline to fly the said route on modern liners Airbus A320 and Airbus A319. Flights will be flown thrice a week on the new plane Airbus A320, which the airline received in March 2008 from the factory in France. Once a week flights will be flown on Airbus A319.

The A320 liner is a narrow fuselage aircraft, designed to carry 164 air passengers. The aircraft has spacious cabin configuration with new seat design and interior in light colors. The aircrafts of this type have more spacious compartments for hand luggage creating additional convenience to passengers, and also reducing the embarkation and debarkation time.

Launching of flights between Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk on modern liners, certainly, will promote the development of business ties, provide the population of the regions new opportunities in high quality transport connectivity”, - notes Vladimir Nikonov, Deputy Governor of Novosibirsk Region, Chairman of the Coordination Body on transport of the Inter-Regional Association “Siberian Agreement”.
