OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 July 2008 was announced, that 635,600 sq m of housing, including 317,000 sq m ordered by the city, are to be erected in north Moscow in 2008, Vladimir Resin, first deputy Moscow City Mayor, head of Moscow Construction Complex, declared during a conference at the office of the prefecture of the northern administrative district of Moscow on July 5.

3 new schools are to appear in north Moscow in 2008 – it is planned to erect the buildings set to be used as elementary schools attached to schools No 272 and No 1112, school No 185 is to undergo reconstruction and get an additional building.

14 kindergartens, 9 sports and fitness centres are to be commissioned in the district in the current year. A 9-storey surgical department and a 3-storey subsidiary building for municipal clinical hospital No 24 on 10 Pistsovaya Street are to be placed in operation in September 2008.

2 houses were demolished and a new one was built in Levoberezhny township in 2008. 3 more houses with the total area of 22,000 sq m are to be taken down and 8 houses with the total area of 98,000 sq m are to be raised in the township by 2009.
