OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2008. The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CCI) and Moldova's Banks Association (ABM) signed a joint activity programme for 2008-2009, reported the press-centre of CCI.

The document was signed by CCI's Chairman Gheorghe Cucu and ABM's Chairman Dumitru Ursu and is aimed at consolidating the cooperation between banks and businessmen to support the common objectives regarding the state's economic policy.

The programme includes the ABM members participation in exhibitions, fairs, forums and foreign economic missions in Moldova jointly with those organized abroad by CCI.

This document's goal is to ensure the participation of ABM delegations in meetings with foreign businessmen and bank experts on visit to Moldova.

Another goal is to support the foreign delegations participation in exhibitions, fairs, forums, economic missions and training which will take place in Moldova.

Gheorghe Cucu noted that the agreement signed with ABM is "a pioneering Action for the Chamber as a representative of the interests of the real sector of the economy" and he also pointed out the opportunity of a permanent dialog between both sides.

For his part, Dumitru Ursu underlined that the goal of the Agreement signed with CCI is to promote and represent the interests of both sides in the Moldovan economic system in the relations with the governmental authorities jointly with foreign business circles.
