OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 July 2008 was announced, that Grozny Avia had launched scheduled services to Grozny, Chechnya out of Vnukovo International. The daily frequency is operated using the Yakovlev-42 trijet as standard equipment on the route, with flights leaving Grozny at 10:20 (Moscow time) to arrive in the nation’s Capital at 13:10 The return flights will leave Vnukovo at 14:10, arriving in Grozny at 17:00 (Moscow time).

The Grozny Avia passengers are welcomed in Vnukovo’s Domestic Terminal D. The Terminal’s 1st level accommodates passenger & baggage check-in as well as the arrivals area, a telegraph office, long-distance payphones, a cyber café, air & rail ticket offices, a taxicab service desk. For the added comfort and convenience of our passengers, an array of cafés and souvenir shops is provided, with the outlets dotted throughout the Terminal to ensure a satisfying dining and shopping experience.

Grozny Avia, founded in 2007 under the Grozny Air Services Development Plan, operates a fleet of the Yakovlev - 42 short-to-midrange trijets. Earlier this summer the carrier received its Air Operator’s Certificate and commenced scheduled air services to the Russian Capital.
