OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 July 2008 was announced, that to recap, PAVA has actively shipped flour abroad since the 2nd half-year of 2007. In a short period of time, specialists of the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East managed to accomplish a real breakthrough in this line of business. The volume of export sales is increasing steadily every month.

Today the company has established business relations with partners from more than 10 countries of the world, at the same time contacts with the most promising markets are being developed. According to Angela Kiseleva, OJSC PAVA Commercial Director, they include Iraq, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines and Libya.

“We decided to give higher priority to these countries, because they buy large volumes of products at a time. Each of them has its own specific features regarding the market itself, transportation of grain-processing products, requirements to the quality of flour, bran and farm animal feed”, she said.

One of the options to ship flour to Iraq and Libya is to take part in tenders organized by state buyers. The terms of these competitions require that flour must strictly meet certain quality standards and have a competitive price. Citizens of the Philippines take interest in the flour enriched by vitamin and mineral complex.

Currently, OJSC PAVA specialists are working out optimal transportation routes in order to lower the final cost of grain processing products. Talks with representatives of several countries are in progress, which have an aim to sign contracts for agent activities.
